The apparel and textile industry in Vietnam has overtaken crude oil as that country's No. 1 export.

During the first 10 months of this year, Vietnam shipped $7.5 billion in apparel and textiles to primarily the United States and Europe, according to the Vietnamese General Statistics Office.

Vietnam's apparel manufacturing sector has grown rapidly ever since the U.S. government early this year stopped monitoring Vietnamese apparel coming into the United States. The Bush administration feared that Vietnam would dump apparel goods on the U.S. market and started closely watching import prices in 2007 to determine whether anti-dumping duties should be imposed.

The Department of Commerce held six-month reviews of five different apparel products-trousers, shirts, underwear, site, swimwear and sweaters-but found no signs of dumping.

How well has the Blackjack held up?  Is it still pretty lively at this point?

Michael, what's the difference in the throws of the Jade Synergy, and Spinsonic series?

Heya fellas!  Howdy Michael!

I am looking for Tensioned rubbers for both forehand and backhand sides of my bat.  I play an Xiom Stradivarius which is a Kiri Center, Aramid Carbon layered, with Koto exterior layers.  It plays All+ to Off-.  It plays a bit like a TBS only a slight bit slower, and a tad stiffer on short game.  I love the blade, and I have played quite a few types of rubbers on the blade ranging from Japanese (current) to Chinese and European.  I am hoping that Spintech will offer the rubber that has what I am looking for.  I like the throw high on forehand side, and medium low on backhand side.

Chinese Rubbers have nice spin with the tack but everyone knows they are quite a few steps slower than Jap/Euro.

Japanese rubbers have nice quality and great mechanical spin but I kinda miss a slight bit of tack on my forehand side.  The Juic 999 Elite Ultima is a great rubber to play with but I don't want to mess with glue anymore.  999 Elite Nano is no substitute as it falls apart if you look at it wrong.

Euro rubbers are so fragile it drives me nuts.  I had an Omega II on my backhand side and I loved the rubber for my backhand but I touched (barely) the table three times and I am missing over an inch of the rubber.

Michael had mentioned Spinsonic for my forehand based on my description and I don't see any flaws with that so I will definitely put that at the top of the list for the forehand side.  Should I go with Spinsonic or Spinsonic SV?  Wouldn't SV have better tensioned effect?

My backhand side I have no idea what I should try for that, but I was thinking something tensioned, no tack, a little harder than what I play on forehand side.  I would go with Medium to Medium Low throw on backhand side.  Thanks for any comments!

A couple weeks ago I played first time with a Spintech Luxor, Blackjack Synergy on my forehand and Spiinpower SV Super Tune Max rubber on my backhand. I only lost 2 matches in the entire tournament.

I was pleasantly surprised at the magical touch and control of this offensive combo.

The Blackjack Synergy Max allowed me to counter spin and or smash at will all the opponent's loops and Spinpower SV Super Tune allowed me to offer my deceptive offensive blocks from my backhand.

I would recommend this combo for an offensive player.

I switched from a Michael Maze to the Luxor and could not be happier! The short play is much better than the Maze and I still have enough kick to win points from distance. I play a controlled spin game and I finally found a blade with the correct dwell and power mix! Many thanks Michael for finally setting me straight!

Spintech Luxor Blade Review
The Spintech Luxor is the latest jewel in the Spintech Table Tennis Carbon Blades family. With a (3Wood/2Carbon) ply OFF- speed rating and Samba outer plies, this blade offers “harness-able” power, surprising ball feeling, magical touch and – most important – the unmatched precise directional ball control at various speeds. The high tech Speed Cored handle provides for a "shock absorbing vibration free" feel.

BLOCKING AND COUNTER DRIVES - Just as advertised, blocks with the Spintech Luxor blade are sent over the net with precise control and ball placement catching your opponent off-guard. Fast counter spins seem almost effortless with uncanny directional ball control. And flat hits - forget about it – it is gone!

LOOPING - At near the table, the Luxor blade offers deceiving speed as well as power you can control. Your effortless loops whether fast and low or high and slow are loaded with enormous spins. This is a blade that does most of the work for you and allows the technical player to make use of their hand skills.

THE SHORT GAME SURPRISE - Surprisingly, the Luxor  blade has all the gears that enable you to use aggressive short strokes that are generally a trademark of slower speed rated wood blades of the past.

STEP UP AND STEP BACK - The Spintech Luxor can be used by any advancing/intermediate player looking to “step up” the pace of his/her game and ready to inititate power looping that dominates advanced levels of table tennis today!

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS - The Spintech Luxor is yet another amazing piece of super professional grade table tennis equipment blade addition to the Spintech blades family. Truly this blade is quite intimidating with its uncanny dynamic power along with unsurpassed magical touch. What differentiates the Spintech Luxor blade from other offensive carbon blades is its predictability, as well as “friendly” feeling at all distances and speeds. When combined with a pair of your favorite Spintech professional rubbers, it becomes an offensive person's dream winning weapon of choice. In my opinion, your money is well spent and more over justified.

Spintech continues to raise the bar of unsurpassed quality and performance of its table tennis equipment.

What is next, Spintech!

I just purchased a new sheet of Dynasty Gold 1.8 after using Joola Energy 2.1 for the past two years. I'm very impressed with the Dynasty Gold. Upon observation of the two sheets the sponge is about the same softness as the Energy, but you can tell by examining the top sheet that the Dynasty is a lot higher quality rubber.

After working with this the past few evenings - two hours on the robot and in play for three hours I've made some comparisons. The Dynasty 1.8 is slightly faster than the Joola Energy 2.1M on the same Carbo Gold blade. Spin: Dynasty produces more spin with the same strokes. Control: even - both have a soft sponge; therefore allowing the ball to hit the blade for those players who like the control game.

Overall I would recommend the dynasty Gold over the Energy. The top sheet is a higher quality and produces more speed/spin with the same control. It looks like the rubber should outlast the Energy over time.

Joola Extra: I tried this when it first hit the market and wasn't impressed at all; this is not to say that it wouldn't work for some people. The Extra has a dense sponge more like the Chinese rubbers and was very hard to control. I couldn't distinguish a spin difference; but the Extra seem pretty fast with no feel or control.

If anyone on this forum is a Energy Junkie I would say "try the Dynasty Gold". The two are pretty similar and play a lot alike. If you want to add more spin/speed with the same control then try this the gold.

Kindly note that I have attempted to repost a lot of the original reviews of our Spintech rubbers that had previously posted by players on our previous website forum. As our web hosting service lost all the website data and their backups did not work, we finally decided to host our own website and forum and I have reposted most of the rubber reviews on our new forum. If any of you players in the past have reviewed any of our Spintech rubbers, kindly email me the details. I would love to see you get the credit for that review.

Thanks and enjoy!

Michael
